On the occasion of National Science Day, the 'Science Fair' organized by Synergy Science Academy at Raosaheb Patwardhan Memorial Hall in Savedi received a good response from the child scientists. Along with children, parents also crowded to see the science fair. The 'Science Fair' was inaugurated by Vikhe Patil English Medium School's Principal Namrita Ohri, Gynecologist Dr. Sonali Wahadane, 'Lokmat' Ahmednagar edition chief Sudhir Lanka and senior scientist Subhash Padgaonkar.
51 scientific models were presented in the 'Science Fair' on various topics like biology, physical chemistry, robotics, environment. A 'magical stick' for the blind and a low-cost inverter were presented by the students in the science exhibition.
Namrita Ohri in her presidential address appreciated the scientific equipment presented by the students. Sudhir Lanke said that our society is not becoming science-oriented as there is a big gap between science in school and the affairs of society. Sonali Wahadane also appealed to the students to develop scientific approach.
At the beginning of the program, Synergy Science Academy Director Dr. Dutta Ponde in the introduction explained the motive behind organizing this initiative. This activity has been going on for the past eleven years. Sunil Pansare, Jagdish Konge, Gitanjali Lotke, Shweta Nakka worked hard for the success of the program. It was successfully moderated by Varsha Pathak and Hema Konge.
