Call for 'Shrishabd' Poetry Award

For the past few years, 'Sreeshabd' awards have been given to the collection of poetry in memory of the Late Satyabhama Bhagwant Potdar. This year also such awards will be given. The form of the award is Rs.1100 cash, memento, and certificate. A formal award ceremony will be held at Nej (Hatkanangle) on behalf of Spurthi Sahitya Sangh.

For this, the vice president of the association, Subhash Patil, has appealed that the poets or publishers should send a copy of the collection of poems published between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, by April 10, 2023.

This year the awards for both years will be given together. Last year's result has already been declared. Only 2022 yearbooks should be sent. Books Poet Chandrakant Potdar, Md. Po. Majre Karve, Chandgarh, Dist.Kolhapur 416507. Mobile – 9423286479 should be sent before 10th April.

...because at present we are seeing a hidden alliance between the ruling party and the opposition party in the centre, state, municipal corporation and village panchayats around us. They are not seen doing public interest work towards the public. They seem to be going to the upper halls only for their own benefit. While going to these halls, they spend lakhs of crores of rupees and there they are seen doing the work of themselves and their crony capitalists. We do not see any opposition party functioning effectively at present. In the coming time, the people should be united with positive thinking, so the fourth pillar of democracy, i.e. journalism, should play the role of a capable opposition party by keeping sensibility towards the people
