A three-day lecture series on Mahatma Gandhi's 155th birth anniversary; An initiative of Ahmednagar College

    A three-day lecture series has been organized on September 27, 28, and 30 on the occasion of the 155th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on behalf of Gandhi Abhyas Kendra in Ahmednagar College

 In this lecture series, students will be guided on modern technology, increasing computerization advantages and disadvantages, rational therapy, E-library use, and multifaceted aspects of Gandhi. Various activities are conducted throughout the year on behalf of Gandhi Abhyas Kendra. Efforts are made to inculcate new thoughts, treatment of Gandhian thoughts, nationalism, values, attitudes, etc. among the students.

    In this lecture series, I.M.S. Librarian of the Institute Dr. Swati Barnabas on 'Library Use, Digital Library, and Online Search', Prof. Dr.Sudhir Wadekar will give a lecture on 'Mahatma Gandhi's Religious Thoughts' while Dr. Prajakta Thube, Head of the Department of Political Science at New Arts Commerce and Science College, will give a lecture on 'Some Neglected Aspects of Mahatma Gandhi'.

   Under the guidance of Principal Dr. R.JBarnbas Gandhi Study Center, various activities of value-added culture are being implemented among the students. Savitribai Phule Pune University College to implement such activities, Prof. Vilas Nabde gave this information.
