This sixteenth year of 'ChaitraChahool'presented by Ad. Fizz is being held in association with Vivek Vyaspeeth this year. The program started with the decision to make Marathi New Year wishes to awaken Marathi culture. This is 'ChaitraChahool' to tell the importance of the Marathi language, to bring Marathi people together and to celebrate together with good wishes. We have consciously maintained social consciousness while presenting the next interesting invention of Marathi literature-music etc. We feel it is important to express our gratitude to individuals or organizations that have enriched our lives by making immense contributions in the socio-cultural field. Chaitra's speciality is to honour the people who devote their lives to society with 'DhyasaSmanman' and 'Rangkarmi Samman' to artists who have contributed significantly through their art.
In the past fifteen years, Arun Hornekar, Sanjana Kapoor, Ganpat Mhasage, Chandrakant Kale, Madhuri Purandare, Arun Kakade, Kanchan Sontakke, Avinash Godbole, Omprakash Chavan, Sudhir Nandgaonkar have been honoured with 'Dhyasa Sanman' and Mukta Barve, Pradeep Mule, Prasad Oak, Vijay Kenkre, Vijay Kumar Naik, Chandrakant Kulkarni, Datta Patil, Ajit Bhagat, Vishwas Sohni have been awarded 'Rangkarmi Samman'. Also, Sulabhatai Deshpande, Guru Parvathikumar, Raja Mayekar, Prof. Madhukar Tordamal, Prof. Shankar Vaidya, and Sulochana Chavan were felicitated. Pratap Kargopikar, Prof. Vaman Kendra, Abhiram Bhadkamkar, Prakash Khandge, Sunil Shanbhag, and Sandhya Purecha were duly honoured on the platform of 'ChaitraChahool'. Organizer Mahendra Pawar has informed that this year 'Dhyasa Sanman' will be awarded to Vidyadhar Nimkar and 'Rangkarmi Samman' will be given to Faiyaz Sheikh.
'ChaitraChahool' is a celebration of the Marathi New Year on Wednesday. On March 22, 2023, at 10.30 am. With these two honours witnessed by fans at Shivaji Natyamandir, Dadar, it will be more enjoyable.
