    Chanda Gram Panchayat and 'I❤️ Nagar' organized a program of 'Honoring Women, Khel Paithani'cha' on the occasion of International Women's Day. In the beginning, floral wreaths were offered in the image of Savitribai Phule by dignitaries. Bhagirathi Shinde presided over the program. Sarpanch Sunanda Sadashiv Dahatonde inaugurated the program. He highlighted the importance of International Women's Day on March 8 and outlined the program and gave detailed guidance to the women, sisters who had gathered to become empowered in society.

On this occasion, women who have achieved remarkable achievements in various fields such as cleaners, Asha workers, health workers, Anganwadi workers, teachers, writers, political, social and sports were honoured with awards. After it was brought to the notice of the organizers that the award was given to a female scavenger by mistake in the program, they were also given an award.

Uddhav KP's famous 'Khel Paithani' program was organized on behalf of the organizers. KP's valiant coordination made the program a great success. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the program. The children were engrossed in the program. Sarika Dhumal got the first prize, Namrata Dahatonde got the second prize, and Swati Dahatonde got the third prize.

Gram Panchayat member Kalpana Lokhande expressed her passion and told the history of International Women's Day by telling about the rights, rights, security and achievements of women in various fields and attracting the attention of the audience.

President of the program Bhagirathi Shinde said in the presidential speech that the rights that women have today were possible only because of the efforts of Savitribai Phule. Women have performed well in many fields like President, MLA, MP, pilot, doctor, and scientist, but they have not forgotten their culture and traditions. She said that women are responsible for the killing of female foetuses.

The program was moderated by Uddhav Kalapahad alias KP and Shanta Bhausaheb Dahatonde-Markad. On this occasion, Deputy Sarpanch Varsha Sagar Javale, Markad Madam who won the ideal teacher award, Manisha Labde who is working in the field of literature, Shaila Kelagandre, mother of UPSC passed Srikant Kelagandre, Dr Kanchan Dahatonde, Dr Rekha Shinde, Anganwadi worker Meeratai Dahatonde, Asha worker Sunanda Bhaskar, Sonali Bhalke of Credit Union, Shahnaz Shaikh who conducts various courses, Anita Potdar, Ranjana Navale, Sangita Divte, Sangita Dahatonde, Shital Dahatonde, Sunita Javale, Madhuri Javale, Thorat, Women's self-help group outstanding. A working musicianNimbalkar, Mirabai Gawli a role model, Padma Gawli, Meena Dhumal, Ashabai Gawli, Ujwala Dahatonde who completed Narmada Parikrama, Shital Dahatonde who runs a parlour with higher education were present in large numbers. Sarpanch Sunanda Sadashiv Dahatonde thanked him for the program.
