The Maharashtra State Education Council has given a statement to the Secondary Education Officer that Aadhaar card validation should not be made mandatory for batch approval. On this occasion, State President Sunil Pandit, Nashik Division President Sharad Dalvi, Metropolitan President Babasaheb Bodkhe, Treasurer Prasad Samleti, Anil Acharya, Anil Gunjal, Dilip Rokde, Vitthal Mhaske, Sajid Pathan, Shahjahan Sheikh, Sheikh Tajmohamad, Mukta Wable, Shobha Bhor, Rekha Bhingardive, Shabana Syed. , Rinaz Sheikh, etc were present.
All the officials of the Maharashtra State Teachers Council from across the district have been receiving questions regarding this problem for many days. The Education Officer, along with the Chief Minister of Maharashtra State Education Minister, the Commissioner of Education, the Director of Education, and the Deputy Director of Education, has taken into serious consideration the challenges that employees face at the school level. The given time limit should be extended up to 30.9.2023 and without the compulsion of an Aadhaar card and validation, taking into account the number of students as per the offline catalog, after completing the set approval of each school and giving the approved posts, otherwise, the students remaining for validation should be their class teachers, principals, and teachers' council officials A strong protest will be held in front of our hall along with them. The statement should be considered seriously.
In the statement given to the education officer, it is further stated that as per the order of the government, Aadhaar card validation has been made mandatory for the general admission of the academic year 2013-14. However, we would like to tell you that all the principals and teachers in Maharashtra as well as our Ahmednagar district are trying to work honestly as per the orders of the government. However, at the school level, all the staff are trying to do a 100% validation process on the simple system by solving all types of incoming. But the Aadhaar card information on the Saral portal and Saral information must be the same. Without it, the student is not validated.
Some mistakes by the staff at the Aadhaar card center while registering the Aadhaar card cause difficulties in student validation. The set will not be approved until the student validation is completed as per the government order. Every school is stuck in such a crisis today. Class teachers are continuously trying to update their Aadhaar cards by taking students to the Aadhaar card center and staying in touch with the parents.
In addition to the above problems, according to the rules of the government, it is mandatory to conduct an out-of-school survey of illiterates and admit these students to the nearest school without any documents, so that no one is deprived of education and government facilities. In such cases, the management, principal, and teachers of the said school are trying to educate the students who have migrated with their parents from outside the state by admitting them to some schools in their state. The above students are admitted without any documents. It is necessary to have the Aadhaar updated while completing the Aadhaar validation of such students. Earlier bonafide certificate of school was used to update the Aadhaar card. According to the new rules of the government, the original birth certificate of the concerned students is required to change the Aadhaar card information. 5 to 10 percent of students in Ahmednagar city, district, and almost every school in Maharashtra do not complete the validation as birth certificate is not available to students and parents from abroad.
Along with the above problems, requests sent to the school are not being approved by another school, being a Dropbox student, due to the network problems of the Saral portal, the teachers have to work at times even at night. Many such technical difficulties are faced in every school. However, education officials have been warned that Aadhaar card validation should not be forced for common recognition, otherwise, there will be agitation.
