The approval of 'Kamgar Hospital' with 100 beds was celebrated by trade unions at the Shaheed BhagatSingh Memorial

The Workers Hospital Action Committee along with the labor organizations of the Communist Party namely AITUC, CITU, and Krantisinh Labor Organisation here celebrated the approval of the 100 beded hospital by the Central ESIC department for the worker's hospital which they have been demanding and pursuing since 2016. At the Shaheed BhagatSingh Memorial, the leaders, representatives and workers of the MIDC as well as the city's trade unions got together and distributed chocolates to each other as sweets.
      First, the salutation session was started by offering wreaths to the statue of martyr Bhagatsingh by Mahadev Palave, Sandhya Medhe, and Yunusabhai Tambatkar. On this occasion, everyone shouted slogans like "Inqilab Zindabad", "Farmer workers unity be victorious", and "Capitalism is dead".

    

    Prof. Dr. Mahebub Sayyad said that since 2016 communist trade unions such as AITUC, CITU, and Krantisinh Labor Organization have been protesting for Labor Hospital. The senior leadership of the organizations in the state and Delhi followed up at the center giving information about how they were followed up and thanked the ESIC department for the approval of the labor hospital and now only the approval has been received. It is the responsibility of all of us to complete this hospital and he assured us that the same comprehensive follow-up will be done in the future.
     Adv. Co. Sudhir Tokekar gave detailed guidance by saying that there will be a mass movement for the repealed labor laws by the government and pressure from the workers on the government to restore these laws through various means.
     Expressing his concern on this occasion, Bhairawnath wakale of the Krantisinh Labor Organization said that now only a 100 beded labor hospital has been approved. We will have to fight against this anti-worker leadership when the brokers of the capitalists will obstruct the standing of this hospital. We are ready for that. We will not stop until the worker's hospital is completed. This hospital should have been established only when the MIDC was established. But with blind, deaf, and retarded leadership, we had to pursue it ourselves and get it approved. To accomplish this, let's expand the labor movement by taking all the trade unions together.
     On this occasion, Mahadev Palave, and Siddheshwar Kamble expressed their concern and said that no work is impossible if the broad workers are united.
    The program was moderated by Deepak Shirsath, President of the Workers Hospital Action Committee and Arun Thete proposed the vote of thanks.

Industrial workers along with others participated.
