Kedar Govind Keskar, Kishore Bora, Sadhana Bhandari, Rajendra Kumar Agarwal, and Deepak Gandhi, the popular directors of the glorious Nagar Urban Bank, which is in the hands of late RSS BJP MP Dilip Mansukhlal Gandhi and is known throughout the state for corrupt looting including embezzlement of more than 250 crores Meena Ganesh Rathi has sent her statement to the media for publicity. For the readers of Ryat Samachar, bank depositors, members, well-wishers, and general Ahmednagarkar are giving their words verbatim.
19/03/2023 Nagar Urban Bank member Rajendra Gandhi filed a complaint at Kotwali Police Station regarding the transactions in the disputed loan account case. Rs. No. The investigation in 121/22 was and is assigned to Economic Offenses Branch, Ahmednagar. To trace the money trail of the embezzled amount in the investigation of the said crime, to determine the amount of embezzlement and the persons responsible for it, the forensic auditor D.G. The firm Thakarar & Co. has been appointed and the forensic audit is currently underway. Accordingly, it is understood that the forensic auditor has taken out the money trail of the loan amount in Nagar Urban Bank and has recently submitted an Interim Forensic Audit Report regarding the preliminary report.
Forensics by Economic Offenses Branch of Ahmednagar to deny bail to the concerned in the case filed by Ashutosh Landge, Proprietor of Terasoft Technology, and Shital Gaikwad, Proprietor of Jijai Milk and Milk Products, to the District and Sessions Court, AhmednagarAuditor d.G. under the Interim Inspection Report by the firm Thakarar & Company, a report has been submitted to the District and Sessions Court, Ahmednagar and the undersigned ex-directors have explained their stand regarding it.
The said director was working as a director from the year 2014 to 2019 under the leadership of the then chairman late former MP Dilip Gandhi. At that time, all the decisions were taken by the then chairman late former MP Dilip Gandhi in the meeting of the board of directors. The written/oral instructions of the director regarding those decisions were not listened to and records were not allowed. While managing the bank, the late chairman used to take the decision to grant loans to the borrowers and take related decisions accordingly. Terasoft Technology and Jijai Milk and Milk Products are the loan cases that have recently been disclosed to regularize the Non-Performing Assets (NPA) cases from 2014 to 2019 and before 2014. From time to time, large amounts are transferred from the accounts of the borrowers to the accounts of the borrowers, and others were deposited in the account. The said director had no personal knowledge about it and he had no involvement in it. Out of the said amount, some amount has been classified as NPA or overdue loan from time to time. It is necessary to conduct a thorough investigation regarding the persons doing this and their involvement and as the above-mentioned directors were never involved in the decision taken in such a case, accordingly the personal benefit of the above-mentioned directors was never made in such a case or in any other case. No information was given to the aforesaid directors regarding the amounts credited to the loan account from time to time if the aforesaid directors had no involvement in it. Since the creation of the said loan accounts, transactions related to them are between the borrowers and the then officers of the bank, the above-mentioned directors never had any involvement, personal gain, financial gain, or collusion in it. A thorough investigation into the real beneficiaries in the above-mentioned cases as well as other loan cases will definitely reveal the real culprits responsible for bringing the bank into trouble. Whatever statistics regarding the NPA of Nagar Urban Bank used to come in front of the said director as the director used to be printed in the annual report of the bank and the said director was believing that the same data is true but now after seeing the report of the police regarding the forensic audit the said director was shocked and the institutions said directors believed that the figures printed in the annual report should be true. Only the audit report of the organization and the inspection report of the Reserve Bank, but the procedure to be written in the meeting of the board of directors were never shown to the said directors. From the forensic audit and the police report, it is seen that the said directors have been held guilty only from a technical point of view. The said director had not done any act knowingly or out of personal interest. Since the chairman and senior officers of the bank have control over the day-to-day operations of the bank, the directors mentioned there was/was not and are no interference.
Popular Director of Vaibhavsali Nagar Urban Bank Advt. Kedar Govind Keskar, Kishore Bora, Sadhana Bhandari, Rajendra Kumar Agarwal, Deepak Gandhi, and Meena Ganesh Rathi have given this answer with their signatures in the people's court. From this, who is the real beneficiary of the loot of the glorious city urban bank depositors and members? Keskar, Bora, Bhandari, Agarwal, Gandhi, and Rathi seem to have given clear instructions in this regard, yet it seems that the responsibility of directors cannot be shirked.
